Point System Coming?

Rumors are swirling about the potential introduction of a points system in Major League Eating.

The IFOCE confirmed it's strongly considering a points system but refused to comment on the structure of it beyond stating that the system will be tiered and that the exact point allocation for different contests has yet to be determined.

The question now becomes whether or not the system will be introduced in time for the season's first event, which is January 20th in Miami.
