X wins Cannoli-Eating Match

Eater X won the World Cannoli-Eating Championship with 26 cannolis in six minutes, tying eating legend Edward Cookie Jarvis’ previous record, on Friday, September 15th, at the 79th Annual Feast of San Gennaro in New York's Little Italy.

Placing second was Crazy Legs Conti with 22 and placing third was Justin Mih with 18. Despite the rain, a significant crowd assembled for the event.

The 79th Annual Feast of San Gennaro will run through Sunday, September 24, 2005. Presented annually since 1996 by Figli di San Gennaro, Inc., a not-for-profit organization, this year’s Feast will again bring more than 1 million people to the streets of Little Italy in the annual salute to the Patron Saint of Naples. The street festivities include parades, entertainment and food stands.
