"All You Can Eat" Writer Offers "Hot Tub Time Machine"

A new movie by Josh Heald, who wrote a wildly funny screenplay on competitive eating, will come to movie screens at the end of March.

Hot Tub Time Machine -- starring John Cusack, Crispin Glover and Rob Corddry -- follows a group of friends who find themselves transported to the past after falling asleep in a hot tub.

Heald, who competed in the Las Vegas Nathan's Famous qualifier in 2006, sold a screenplay on competitive eating, All You Can Eat, to New Line, where it is in development.

Those who have read the screenplay say it is extremely irreverent and funny, and expect that it will one day be made (hopefully featuring Chestnut, Bertoletti, Thomas, X, Shoudt and other eating luminaries).
