UMASS CONTEST IDENTIFIES TALENT

While he ate only 11 hot dogs and buns, Matthew Penniman, a sophomore at UMASS, was able to fight back all challengers at the UMASS Nathan's Famous pre-season match on Wednesday, April 23. Penniman clearly is not ready to compete at the top levels of the IFOCE/MLE world, but, according to Richard Shea, he had "good teeth." Perhaps a new generation is finding its footing.
