Newcomer Broe Considered Threat at Nathan's Florida Opener

Eric Broe, a new name of the world eating circuit who beat both Joe LaRue and Crazy Legs Conti in one of his first events, is expected to provide steep competition at the Florida Panther's Nathan's Famous qualifier on April 15.

Some contest watchers have very high hopes for Broe, speculating that he will achieve 25 HDBs on his initial hot dog effort. This would be a remarkable accomplishment for someone who has no experience in this discipline.

Broe, from Tallahassee, FL, will face Joe LaRue, Hall Hunt, Larry Mcneil and Loren Yarbrough at the upcoming event.
